DISRUPTION ON DEMAND WITH CANVAS

The Developer Phase starts on November 6, 2023 and ends on December 20, 2023.

The Canvas Hackathon "Discruption on Demand" focuses on dilemmas from Organizational Leadership - which can be resolved, at least partially, with technological solutions.

As a developer, you will submit your hack by the deadline in video or PowerPoint format, visualizing what the Minimal Viable Product will be. You do not need to create the MVP, but give a full explanation, so judges can judge your submission.

Your hack must be original and not copied from elsewhere. (Copied ideas will be disqualified.)

You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems/services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds, etc.

Send your submission by December 20, 2023 to hackathon@canvasleadership.com in one of the following the Submission Guide.

Code of Conduct

1. Inclusivity and Respect:

• Treat all participants, speakers, and organizers with respect and courtesy.
• Embrace diversity of thought, background, and identity. Avoid discriminatory or offensive language and behavior.
• Respect differing opinions and engage in constructive discussions.

2. Professionalism:

• Maintain a professional and appropriate demeanor throughout the event.
• Use appropriate language and tone in all interactions, including chats and discussions.
• Dress appropriately when participating in video sessions.

3. Privacy and Confidentiality:

• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants.
• Do not share personal information or content without explicit permission.
• Do not record, screenshot, or share event content, including presentations and discussions, without prior consent.

4. No Harassment:

Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal, written, or visual forms, will not be tolerated. This includes unwelcome comments, jokes, or gestures.
Report any incidents of harassment promptly to event organizers.

5. Security and Cybersecurity:

• Protect the integrity and security of the event platform and sessions.
• Do not engage in any activities that could compromise the event's cybersecurity or the privacy of participants.
• Do not share links or engage in discussions that promote hacking or other malicious activities.

6. Engagement Guidelines:

• Participate actively and thoughtfully in discussions, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities.
• Use the chat and messaging features responsibly and professionally.
• Adhere to session rules set by moderators and organizers.

7. No Commercial Solicitation:

Do not use the event as a platform for commercial promotion or sales unless explicitly allowed by event organizers.

8. Reporting Violations:

• Report any violations of this code of conduct to event organizers or moderators promptly.
• Event organizers will investigate reported violations and may take appropriate actions, including warnings, removal from the event, or legal action if necessary.

9. Compliance with Event Rules:

Adhere to all event rules and guidelines as specified by the organizers.

10. Consequences for Violations:

Event organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this code of conduct, including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion from the event without a refund.

By participating in the Canvas Hackathon "Disruption on Demand", you agree to abide by this code of conduct and cooperate with event organizers in ensuring a positive and respectful virtual environment for all attendees.
